Final Film
Target Audience Feedback
To recieve our target audience feedback we asked people to either watch our final product on the mac's or we sent them a video through e-mail. We then got them to answer a survey to find out what they though of our film. We also got some of our target audence to tell us what they thought, not just in the survey.
Lucy- " The jump cuts between the victim and the zombie causes tension"
Ellie- " The soundtracks were appropriate for the specific scenes"
Using our survey we got lots of positive and constructive feedback from our target audience. The survey itself is below, along with the results from the survey.
1.Do you think our film fitted into the genre of horror?
2. Which part of the film did
you think was the best?
For this question we got a
range of results, but the answer which appeared the most was 'when the zombie
disappeared from behind the victim on the swing' over 30% of the responses we
recieved back enjoyed this part the most. When asking them why they put that,
people responded that it was the part which created the most tension because you
didn't know where the zombie was.
3. Which part of the film did
you like the least?
For this question people
suggested that they would have liked to have seen more violence in the film,
they suggested that the part where the zombie attacked the victim could have
shown more than it did. We felt that this was very constructive because it
helped us when looking at the BBFC rating; because we felt that this suggested
that our film didn't show much violence.
4. If this was the beginning of
a full length film, would you watch the full length version?

5. Did the sound in the
background add to the suspence?
6. Did the last shot of the
zombie work effectivly in your opinion?
7. Did you fully understand the
plot of our film?
8. Did you know what was
going to happen?
9. Were you frightened by
the ending?
10. Was the build up to the
zombie character well timed in your opinion?
All the responses we recieved
said they thought the build up to the zombie character was well timed, the said
that they felt that because you couldn't see the zombie's face very well until
the end it created a good level of tension and made them want to watch more to
see the zombie.
Overall we are very happy with our target audience feedback, it was very positive and helpful for when we were considering what BBFC rating we should give our final product. We also feel that we reached that audience we intended to target, and that our film fitted well into the zombie horror genre.

Final certificate rating
We have studied our final film and come to the conclusion that the suitable certificate rating would be a 12. The reason for this is that our film contains mild blood and gore content within the zombie’s appearance and moderate violence from the zombie toward the victim. The reason we chose certificate 12 is because the violence is only insinuated and not actually seen. This film would not be suitable to any person under the age of twelve as children may find the zombies appearance distressing.
